The book introduces us to three main characters – Ashley Patterson, Toni Prescott and Alette Peters. And they seem to have two things in common – they dislike each other and their respective mothers think the kids are no good. Toni and Alette still manage to get along but Toni makes no effort in hiding her hatred for Ashley.
One evening when Ashley returns from work, she sees the lights to her room on. She could have sworn that she dint have it on when she left. This made her think she was being stalked and she approaches the police to have someone guard her. The next morning, the cop is found dead in her room. Over the few days, couple of more murders happen in the same manner – sex before castration. At every murder spot, the evidence leads us back to Ashley. In fact a gift given by one of the murdered persons to Toni is found among Ashley’s things. ย This only makes matters worse.
Which one of the two is trying to frame Ashley? Or there’s a third person? Why is she being framed? Is all of this by any chance related to Ashley’s past? Read the book to find out. It is surely a must read! I got goosebumps by the end of it. Not the twists and turns I had expected, horrific! ย I’ve read all of Sidney Sheldon’s books and this one definitely stands out. Will give it a 4/5.
Ok, other than being anti-Twitlight, i’m also anti-Sidney Sheldon. I read three books by SS, and they all seemed to be of the same vein.
But i’m yet to read ‘Tell Me your Dreams’, and have heard good reviews of the same. About time i check it out!
