Web of Evil

Ali Reynold’s life couldn’t get worse than this – she loses her job as a new anchor and her husband’s cheating on her. As if all of it wasn’t painful enough, she is the main suspect for her ex husband’s mysterious death.

Its just unfortunate how everything seems to be against her – passing the crime scene when he was killed and turning into the sole heir of her ex husband’s wealthy estate since they weren’t divorced. She needs to get to the root of all this before she’s convicted and its definitely not an easy road.

The book is slow in the beginning but eventually picks up. Though I haven’t read any other book by J.A.Jance, I thought this was quite a predictable one. I’ll give it a 2.5/5.
